Causes of Acne

Acne, or pimples as many people refer to them, can be caused by many things. Pimples are formed when the oil glands that are located at the bottom of hair follicles becomes clogged. As a result, the hair follicle slowly increases in size to form a lump. Furthermore, when the hair follicle becomes larger, the wall of the skin may break and bacteria may enter the inner layers of the skin which creates inflammation. Some factors that play into acne causes include genetics, diet, hygiene, stress,cosmetics, and drugs.
